Since 1993 I process and sell meat from organic farming. Since 1999 exclusively KAGfreiland meat. My farm is annually inspected by bio-inspecta and then certified.

KAGfreiland is the Swiss farm animal protection organization and also the most animal-friendly organic label in Switzerland. Since 1972, it has been committed to species-appropriate animal husbandry and near-natural agriculture. Animal welfare and the careful treatment of nature have top priority at KAGfreiland. For example, it is important that the animals live in a herd. In order for the animals to be able to behave according to their species, they need employment opportunities. That is why KAGfreiland pigs are given rooting material and KAGfreiland goats have raised areas in the barn and run. All animals can go outside every day, summer and winter. KAGfreiland is the only label where the animals may only be transported a maximum of 30 km or 1 hour.

KAGfreiland is a non-profit organization, which is financed to over 90% by membership fees and donations. It has been able to achieve a great deal in Swiss agricultural policy in recent years. Many topics are only talked about because KAGfreiland draws the public's attention to them (e.g. castration of piglets without anesthesia, gassing of chicks, rabbit keeping). KAGfreiland not only talks about grievances, but also tries to work out solutions with projects and then puts them into practice.

KAGfreiland and its affiliated farmers can only make this effort if there are consumers on the other side who buy their products. If you are also interested, I would be very pleased to hear from you or to receive an order. We are on the road with a refrigerated car every Friday from Wädenswil via Zurich to Dietlikon and can deliver to you. The meat will be vacumed and labeled in small portions according to your wishes. There is no minimum order quantity and we also do not know a small quantity surcharge.
