Chez Bertrand (Bonstetten)

from France is not only a chef by profession, but by vocation. His professional path led him through various "Michelin Houses" abroad, to the "Ermitage" Küsnacht and in Clarens, to Peter Bärmann in Lausanne and as sous-chef to Witschi.

The two got to know each other at Heinz Witschi. Side by side they stood there at the stove and Cupid sent out his arrows.

Harmony also prevailed at the Camino restaurant, "Chez Bertrand," which the couple successfully ran from April 1996 to May 2003. Awarded in several international gourmet guides.

Chez Bertrand now offers cooking classes, private chef, caterings, traiteur since June 2003.

From the Mövenpick Egerkingen, which she helped open in 1986, she came to the "Veltlinerkeller" in Zurich, then moved to the dining car company in Geneva, was in Florida, where she cooked for the American Vice President Gore, among others, before returning to Switzerland as a patissière at Witschi and then as operations manager at the airport restaurants in Kloten.
