Metzgerei Schaad AG (Flüh)

Otto and Sophie Schaad-Stöcklin built the first butchery Schaad, with slaughterhouse and store, in Rodersdorf in 1913. In 1921 they acquired the restaurant "Zur Rose" in Flüh, where between the restaurant and the barn the second butchery Schaad, with slaughterhouse, sausage store, cold storage rooms and store was built. Son Max Schaad took over the business in 1942 and rebuilt it in 1962 according to the latest, entrepreneurial and hygienic standards.

The third and fourth Schaad generation. Since 1990, Martin Schaad (Max's son) and wife Mireille have been responsible for the fortunes of the family business. In 2002, they took a new step and took over the branch in Aesch. Today, they can offer a wide range of delicacies and gourmet treats. From homemade specialties, raw milk cheese, Italian pasta, spices and olive oil to prepared dishes for "quick" cooking. Fresh fish is available every Thursday. Catering requests are also fulfilled within the scope of the offer and possibilities.

Now Kevin Schaad has also arrived at the business in Flüh, after a long journey of experience, and thus the fourth Schaad generation is already involved.
