About Us
Michelekocht was founded in Zürich in 2016 by chef Michael Metz and has grown over the past 10 years into an established catering and event food business.
Michael and chef Felix Lehmann both bring experience from Michelin-starred kitchens to Michelekocht, combining classical culinary training with a more personal, contemporary approach to catering.
From intimate private celebrations to corporate events and larger occasions, the team creates menus around the season, the setting and the people at the table. Ingredients are sourced daily from Zürich’s Engrosmarkt, with a focus on freshness, regional produce and thoughtful preparation.
Over the years, Michelekocht has built long-standing relationships with local suppliers, clients and venues, while continuing to develop what catering in Zürich can be.
