The traditional, well-kept Gasthof has been owned by the Wohler family for several generations. The building, with its over 250-year history, is under municipal protection. The Gasthof zum Rössli is known in the Freiamt for its good cuisine and uncomplicated, family hospitality.

Our seasonal, market-oriented menu is a cross-section of middle-class and traditional Swiss cuisine. Both peppered with innovative, modern own creations as well as international delicacies.

In addition to the gastronomy you will also find our boarding house in our beautiful old building. Our guests stay in an urban environment, they enjoy privacy and who wants can use hotel-like services.

Our boarding house offers you independence and privacy. You board and live on (in)definite time in urban environment. The offered are furnished. We have simple hotel rooms with bath/shower and WC; simple guest rooms with/without washbasin and with floor shower and WC.
