Gabbani SA (Lugano)

Gabbani is a family business with a long tradition--the project was started on December 23, 1937 by Domenico Gabbani. In the premises of the time, used as a warehouse in an old house on Pessina Street, the butcher, qualified as a gastronome, opened his charcuterie butcher shop. Management was simple: wife Giulietta Beltrami of the Blenio Valley at the cash register, husband and sister-in-law at the counter, and a boy to deliver orders.

Although the times were not ripe, the small family business was already focusing on gastronomy. The war years were very difficult for everyone, but with the beginning of the economic boom came success. Gabbani developed and became, in the Lugano market, a prestigious brand for refined specialties, refinement and quality, which remains today.
