Restaurant Rössli (Flawil)

According to the local historian Alfred Hoffmann from Flawil, there has been an inn here for over 350 years. Two centuries later, the PfÄNDER and Gauer families shaped the events "Rössli". During the French period from 1798 to 1803, Johannes PfÄNDER, school governor, district commander and first president of the district court of Flawil, set the tone in the "Rössli". Other hosts and owners followed and from 1909 onwards it was the Gauer family who carefully looked after the spacious property with restaurant, small hall and concert hall for many generations.

In the fall of 2010, Flawil owner Ralf Klingler bought the traditional house and rented it to host Irene Baumann in January 2011.

Our menu includes everything from a simple menu to dishes for high demands. a rich offer. With us you will also find numerous seasonal delicacies. A large selection of exquisite wines at attractive prices, matched to the various offers, complete the menu.

Irene Baumann, as hostess, and her teams are responsible for making you feel at home at the Rössli and ensuring that you can spend a few carefree hours.

The Hotel Flawil ***, which covers the hotel offer in Flawil with its twelve rooms and one suite; is operated as an additional business to the Restaurant Rössli.
